Poor quality but still funny.

Noice

Good video. Although I slightly agree with AnthonyDeadman64, I would like to point out that you should probably ignore him (and anyone else trying to tell you what to do) because it's clear he obviously doesn't know anything about how exceptionally well done and smooth the animation quality of your videos are.

People like him though need humor to satisfy his feeble brain. Unless your intentions were to entertain morons, I'd say keep up the good work!

It really is impressive how well you're able to take an otherwise repulsing idea, make it even more repulsing,.... and funny... Good submission.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

cheers.

It was good. It got out of hand quickly though.

... Let's see. I don't agree that it's poop. I would however say that the animation is below acceptable quality. The fact that another member of this site doesn't have any submissions is irrelevant. This site was originally made for artists to get together and work on stuff together. No one would know this site existed though if it weren't for people that just got on to enjoy the stuff. That's why there is a whole blam and protection system. Some things are just better left off of a now renowned website and artist community and it doesn't take an artist to gauge the quality of art. Isn't that the point of art to begin with? Relatability? Creativity? Talent? Originality? I see none of it here regardless of the fact that I can't animate a toothbrush.

If this wasn't even meant to be a serious submission, why defend it like it was? You would have had to expect these kind of responses. This work, and your response to the criticism it has received, is a good way to get people to never take you seriously as an artist. Can't take the heat? Stay out of the kitchen.

And monster is, in-fact, f'n terrible for you.

I, generously so, give 2 stars for the slight bit of comedy that would appeal to other people. The ear tonguing made me smile a bit.

Fizzento responds:

I wasn't trying to defend it like it was serious. Although I could have lightened up, and I agree that if it wasn't for people who sign up to enjoy things, the site more than likely would be a mess. Also, I was just being honest for those 2 reviews and for my response to X4R1N's, I didn't have my thinking cap on.
And umm, this isn't meant to be art. Like the description says, this is what happened between animating. Something much better than this imo.
Thanks for an honest review.

... the best video I've ever seen on this site.

So... Did the boy imagine the monster then jump in the water and die?

OMFG

I loved it! My only complaint is that it took a moment to get started. There was a significant beginning point that made me feel like there wasn't any real antagonist or story direction.

I loved the clear characters. You built story characters with awesome personalities. My fiance especially loved the smiling beast at the end that hung the main character by his horns [I liked how he grabbed him out and stabbed his horns into the branch].

At one point I said to my fiance, "This animation is better than Disney!" Great animation style.
